The Washington Commanders have released their final injury report for today’s game on Friday, revealing that no player has an injury designation for the game. In order to add more depth, Washington has recently elevated DL Abdullah Anderson and CB Tariq Castro-Fields from the practice squad. Castro-Fields was also promoted last week due to Christian Holmes’ absence caused by a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Anderson has replaced Efe Obada on the roster after Obada suffered a patella injury. Now that Obada has returned, Anderson has been called up to strengthen the defensive line.
Despite being healthy this week, both Holmes and Obada are inactive for today’s game. This marks the second consecutive game that Holmes has missed. Obada made a successful return from injured reserve last week and played in 30% of the defensive snaps. Although there have been no reported setbacks this week, Obada finds himself inactive once again, with Anderson taking his place on the roster.
Chris Paul was in contention for the starting left guard position against Saahdiq Charles, but he ultimately lost the battle and is now back on the inactive list. Curtis Hodges, the fourth tight end, is also inactive for yet another game. Mitchell Tinsley, an undrafted rookie wide receiver, has been a healthy scratch for the fifth time this season. K.J. Henry is also inactive for another week. Trent Scott was active last week when Charles Leno was absent for personal reasons, but he has returned to the inactive list for today’s game.
