It’s time to cast your vote for the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries girls high school athlete of the week for Oct. 9-14.

This week, we have talented athletes competing on the high school soccer field, volleyball court, and golf course.

Here are the impressive candidates vying for the title:

Karlie Campbell, Summertown: Campbell showcased her skills by winning the TSSAA Class A girls individual golf state championship with a remarkable two-day total score of 135 (68-67) at the Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Caroline Pardue, Providence Christian: Pardue demonstrated her dominance in golf by capturing her second Division II-A girls state championship in the last three years. She shot an impressive 4-under 136 (64-72) while helping her school break the state record with the lowest girls team score in history (279).

Tennessean Athlete of the Week

Alexandra Crews, Ensworth: Crews emerged victorious in the DII-AA girls golf title, shooting a commendable 3-over 143 (75-68) and defeating teammate Savannah Cherry in a thrilling playoff. Crews and Cherry also led Ensworth to the DII-AA girls team title.

Brooke Bennett, Page: Bennett showcased her golfing skills by finishing fourth in the Class 2A state tournament, with a commendable 4-over and a two-day total of 146 (72-74).

Elle Lassiter, Station Camp: Lassiter displayed her soccer prowess by scoring a hat trick and contributing three assists to help Station Camp secure the District 9-2A tournament title with a dominating 9-1 victory over White House last Thursday.

Emma Johnson, Liberty Creek: Johnson demonstrated her scoring abilities by netting three goals in the District 6-1A championship, leading Liberty Creek to victory against White House-Heritage.

Addison Alexander, Spring Hill: Alexander’s excellent performance included a hat trick as Spring Hill cruised to a 4-0 win over Columbia in the District 9-3A semifinal.

Gracie Hibdon, Gallatin: Gracie was honored as the region MVP after an outstanding performance, recording 23 kills, three aces, 16 assists, 19 digs, and three blocks. Her contributions propelled Gallatin to sweep James Lawson and Green Hill for the Region 6-3A championship.

Sadie Kroeger, PCA: Kroeger proved her skills on the volleyball court, tallying 22 kills, 12 digs, and an ace as PCA triumphed over Concord Christian in 3 sets to secure a spot in the DII-A state semifinals held this week in Murfreesboro.

Lauren Slatton, Warren County: Slatton exhibited her golfing prowess by shooting an impressive 1-under 137 (68-69) to become the Class 2A girls state golf champion.
