Usher Teams Up with A’ja Wilson and Las Vegas Aces for Must-See Show

The Las Vegas Aces have been riding high since clinching their second consecutive WNBA championship by edging out the New York Liberty 70-69 in Game 4 of the Finals.

The festive vibe extended to the postgame press conference, as Kelsey Plum kept up her tradition of amusing A’ja Wilson by playing music through a speaker perched on her shoulder.

Post-game, Finals MVP, A’ja Wilson, reached out to Usher, who is currently performing in Las Vegas, inviting him to their upcoming parade.

“Usher, I saw you got your ‘national Usher day.’ … We lit, the parade is Monday,” Wilson said, referring to the city declaring Oct. 17 as “Usher Raymond Day.”

Wilson emphasized the invitation by posting a written reminder on social media.

Despite Usher’s absence from the parade, he responded to the Aces with a video, congratulating them and inviting them to his show in Vegas.

“A’ja Wilson, I got your message. I see you, I hear you. Couldn’t be at the parade but I wanted to send this out to you to say congratulations. … I wanted to invite you to come see the show, come see me do it ‘My Way’ in Vegas.”

Wilson’s excitement was palpable after Usher’s response, but Sydney Colson joked about receiving tickets to Usher’s show after her modest Game 4 performance.

According to Wilson, Colson’s contributions in Game 4 might not earn her any tickets from Usher.

Although Usher did not specify a date in his offer, he has two more shows scheduled for October at the Park MGM and 10 dates throughout November.
