UNC basketball guard works on shot after win

North Carolina Tar Heels triumphed in their first two games of the 2023-24 college basketball season, securing wins against Radford and Lehigh on their home turf. As the team prepares for a tougher schedule ahead, their aim is to accumulate as many victories as possible.

Winning these non-conference games early in the season carries significant weight, and the likes of Armando Bacot and R.J. Davis have stepped up to lead the team, with other players also making valuable contributions.

Notably, the team’s freshmen have been given substantial playing time, including point guard Elliot Cadeau, who has shown promise despite some struggles, shooting 35.7 percent from the field and averaging 6 points per game.

Despite his performance, Cadeau hit the court post-game, dedicating himself to improve his shooting. After going 0-for-3 from the three-point range, Cadeau was spotted at the Dean Dome working on his shots.

The highly touted five-star freshman, Elliot Cadeau, received acclaim at the start of the season and was named ACC Preseason Rookie of the Year. His dedication and work ethic suggest he might even contend for a starting spot in the future.
