The native of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada dominated the 2023 NASCAR Pinty’s Series campaign, securing an impressive seven wins over the 14-race season, leading a record 1,149 laps, and ultimately clinching the championship title.

In an interview, Lapcevich recounted, “When we won three out of the first four races, I knew it was going to be a special season.”

Despite the remarkable success, Lapcevich revealed his concerns about securing funding for a potential return to the recently rebranded NASCAR Canada Series in 2024. He emphasized the challenges of finding sponsorship, casting a shadow on his racing prospects for the upcoming season.
