Top-50 guys shine in Vegas; Pendrith with biggest jump

Four of the top six finishing positions at the Shriners Children’s Open on Sunday were achieved by players who have already secured spots in every signature event for 2024 through the FedExCup top 50.

However, players ranked 51 and beyond in points are still competing to improve their status for the next season. Those ranked 51-60 after the fall season will be able to participate in the first two signature events following The Sentry: the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (Feb. 1-4) and Genesis Invitational (Feb. 15-18). Additionally, players ranked inside the top 125 will retain their full cards, while those ranked 126-150 will receive conditional status for 2024.

In Las Vegas, both Alex Noren and Taylor Pendrith made considerable jumps in points with their T-3 finishes.

The remaining fall schedule includes the following tournaments:

  • Oct. 19-22: Zozo Championship (Japan)

  • Nov. 2-5: World Wide Technology Championship

  • Nov. 9-12: Butterfield Bermuda Championship

  • Nov. 16-19: RSM Classic
