In recent years, the NFL has played regular-season games in countries like Mexico, Canada, and Germany. By expanding to new international locations, the NFL hopes to replicate the passionate support it receives in the United States.
Furthermore, adding more neutral-site games would address the current imbalance in the schedule, where teams play 17 games in a season. The ideal scenario would involve each team playing eight traditional home games, eight traditional away games, and one neutral-site game. This approach would help maintain competitive balance and eliminate any perceived advantages certain teams may have.
