TGL, the revolutionary golf league led by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, has completed its roster of 24 players with the addition of five more talented individuals, including U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark and Patrick Cantlay, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Joining TGL are also PGA Tour stars Lucas Glover, who had an outstanding season with two wins, Min Woo Lee, and Kevin Kisner.

“Today marks a significant milestone for TGL presented by SoFi,” declared TGL CEO Mike McCarley in a statement. “Securing five players of such high caliber and finalizing our inaugural roster of 24 PGA Tour professionals, who will form our six TGL teams, further reinforces the momentum we have leading up to our first event in January.”

These five players will join a roster that already boasts major championship winners such as Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Keegan Bradley, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose, Shane Lowry, and Adam Scott. In addition, both McIlroy and Woods will also participate in the league.

TGL’s launch is set for January 9, with the purpose-built arena located on the campus of Palm Beach State College in Florida. The league will consist of six teams, each with a four-man roster. Matches will adopt a match-play format with three golfers representing each team on a virtual course featuring a short-game complex.

The inaugural season of TGL will include 15 regular-season matches, followed by semifinals and finals. Fans can catch the action on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN+.

“The more I spoke with the other players involved in TGL, the more I was drawn to be part of this competition,” expressed Cantlay. “This presents a fantastic opportunity to showcase golf in an innovative, technology-driven format during prime time. TGL will not only allow us to showcase our skills as players but also reveal a different side of ourselves that fans typically don’t see on the course.”

Four of the six team names and their owners have been unveiled by the league: Atlanta Drive GC, TGL Boston, Los Angeles Golf Club, and TGL New York.
