Wembanyama aims to improve his performance in his second game, similar to how he bounced back in the Las Vegas Summer League after a slow start. In his second regular-season game, he will face fellow highly-regarded rookie Amen Thompson and the Rockets. Thompson, selected fourth overall in the June draft, contributed eight points, five rebounds, and two assists in his debut, playing 21 minutes off the bench. Both rookies will be looking to make an impact in Game 2.
