The Kings are starting their new season with a bang by paying homage to their rich and storied past.

During Kings Fan Fest on Saturday at Golden 1 Center, the Kings revealed their highly anticipated Nike NBA City Edition Uniform for the upcoming 2023-24 season. This exciting uniform is a tribute to the iconic 1968 Cincinnati Royals road jerseys, showcasing the team’s historical significance.

“As we celebrate the 100-year anniversary of our franchise, we are thrilled to introduce the new Nike NBA City Edition Uniform,” said John Rinehart, Kings president of business operations. “The design draws inspiration from the renowned 1968 Cincinnati Royals road uniform, honoring one of the most iconic jerseys in NBA history. We can’t wait to share it with our loyal fans!”

These remarkable uniforms pay homage to multiple eras of Kings basketball, reflecting the team’s proud legacy that spans a century. Combining the iconic colors of the Royals and Kings, including the franchise’s primary royal blue and the newly updated gray, the jerseys also feature crown logos, a beloved symbol associated with the team since their days in Rochester, N.Y.

To complement the new jerseys, the Kings will unveil a matching court at Golden 1 Center, creating a cohesive and visually striking experience for both players and fans.

Fans can eagerly anticipate the debut of these extraordinary uniforms on November 10th, marking the Kings’ first NBA In-Season Tournament game. The unveiling of the court will coincide with a thrilling match against the Los Angeles Clippers on November 29th.
