Terry, who had a remarkable career at Chelsea, with 717 appearances and numerous titles, believes his own success may not have been possible if he didn’t seize the opportunity when he made his debut at a young age.

He recalls a teammate who was even more talented but didn’t make it due to his lack of mental readiness and missed opportunities.

Although not widely remembered, Rob Wolleaston made his debut for Chelsea but quickly dropped to lower divisions for more playing time.

This talented teammate of Terry’s repeatedly turned down opportunities to play in the first team due to his lack of mental readiness, despite his incredible abilities.

After a brief stint at Chelsea, Wolleaston embarked on a journey through various lower league clubs before retiring in 2014.
