Dayton-UC Basketball Tipoff Scheduled to Avoid Conflict with Same-Day Bengals Kickoff

The highly anticipated Hoops Classic showdown between the Dayton Flyers and UC Bearcats is set to take place on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. This scheduling decision was made to prevent any conflicts with the Bengals-Vikings game, which is also scheduled for the same day.

Event organizer bdG Sports officially announced the start time for this highly anticipated matchup. The game is part of a one-year agreement with the option for a second year.

UC head coach Wes Miller expressed excitement about the partnership with bdG Sports and the opportunity to engage the local community through this high-profile college basketball event.

Dayton’s head coach Anthony Grant also shared his enthusiasm about the game, presented by altafiber and CareSource.

The scheduling of the Hoops Classic was contingent on the Week 15 announcement by the NFL for the Bengals’ game against the Vikings.
