Despite running only two races before missing six due to an injury, Elliott had a brief spur of consecutive top-five finishes. However, NASCAR suspended him for one race following a dispute with Denny Hamlin.
Elliott recognizes that there is still a lot of room for improvements despite the mixed results of his season. His goal is to be better in the years to come. He has learned more about his needs and car-related issues and is looking forward to working hard to overcome the team’s struggles.
Despite missing some races and not meeting his expectations, Elliott remains driven and committed to working hard for the future.
