At just 23 years old, Clouden already has an impressive career, playing for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA. She initially made her mark in college basketball at Michigan State before being selected as the 12th overall pick in the 2022 WNBA draft.
Club head coach Esperance Mukaneza shared with Times Sport that the American star is expected to arrive in the country on Monday evening and will begin training with the team on Tuesday.
With rigorous training sessions taking place at Lycée de Kigali Gymnasium, Mukaneza is confident that the team’s newly acquired talent positions them to compete for a medal placement in Cairo this December.
