The Pop-Tarts Bowl is set to make its college football debut, offering the winning team a delicious surprise.
The game’s press release revealed that the mascot for the bowl game will be a giant, edible Pop-Tart – a unique feature that the victorious team will get to enjoy after the game.
Move over turkey legs, because after this game, players will be snacking on a full-on edible mascot. Talk about taking post-game eats to a whole new level!

The Pop-Tarts mascot will be seen running around Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida on Dec. 28th. The game, previously known as the Cheez-It Bowl, will be celebrating its 34th edition in college football.

This bowl game will feature the top teams from the ACC and Big 12 conferences.
“Since turning toast and jam into an ingenious toaster pastry almost 60 years ago, Pop-Tarts has always been about making the world more fun, more unexpected, and more delicious for fans of all kinds,” said Heidi Ray, the senior director of marketing at Pop-Tarts, in an earlier press release.
“We’re ecstatic to be the new title sponsor of the Pop-Tarts Bowl with our partners at Florida Citrus Sports and cannot wait to host Crazy Good experiences for fans and players alike in Orlando, and for those joining us from home,” the press release said.
Last year’s game saw a thrilling victory for Florida State, who defeated Oklahoma by a close margin of 35-32.
