UConn’s renowned player Paige Bueckers is currently ranked third among top-performing players, following Caitlin Clark of Iowa and LSU’s Angel Reese.
Notably, Aaliyah Edwards of the Huskies is also ranked at No. 8, while Azzi Fudd claims the No. 11 spot.
After being sidelined for 19 months due to a torn ACL, Bueckers expressed her gratitude for returning to the court. In a recent game, she displayed an impressive performance with eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal during UConn’s 102-58 victory over Dayton on Wednesday.

Regarding her recovery, Bueckers shared, “I’m still learning how to give myself grace. This is a process, coming back from a major injury, getting my lungs, getting the rhythm and flow back.”
Meanwhile, Edwards proved her capabilities with an exceptional performance, scoring 23 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the win against Dayton. Her coach, Geno Auriemma, praised her aggressive playing style, expressing high hopes for her future games.
