After completing a grueling five-game road trip, the Chicago Blackhawks are finally returning to the United Center for their highly-anticipated 2023-24 season home opener against the reigning Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights.

This game will also mark the first regular season home game for rookie sensation Connor Bedard and his teammates, offering fans an exclusive preview of the revamped Blackhawks roster.

Get ready for an exciting day of events and activities on Saturday, weather permitting:

3 p.m. – Pregame Festivities

The fun-filled pregame festivities will kick off at the United Center at 3 p.m., with outdoor bars and viewing areas opening their doors at that time. The parking lots surrounding the arena will be accessible from 2:30 p.m. onwards.

4:30 p.m. – Red Carpet Arrivals

5 p.m. – Doors Open

The Blackhawks organization advises fans to be seated 15 minutes prior to the scheduled puck drop. The home crowd will be introduced to the team in a spectacular pregame ceremony, featuring new season debut videos and player introductions. Additionally, a heartfelt pregame tribute will be held in honor of the late chairman of the organization, Rocky Wirtz.

7 p.m. – Puck Drop
