Nashville Predators vs. San Jose Sharks: Game Preview, Channel, Time, and Streaming Info
The Nashville Predators will be returning to Bridgestone Arena on Saturday to face off against the San Jose Sharks. After a disappointing 6-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, the Predators had a strong bounce-back game, defeating the New York Rangers 4-1. Meanwhile, the Sharks are still searching for their first win of the season, having earned their only point in a shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
This season marks the first for coach Andrew Brunette and GM Barry Trotz in their positions in Nashville. However, Brunette has previous experience with the Predators as a former player, and Trotz was the team’s first coach. With some new additions to the roster, including veterans Ryan O’Reilly and Gus Nyquist, as well as young forwards Luke Evangelista and Juuso Parssinen, the Predators are looking to build a strong team.
The Predators missed the postseason last year for the first time since 2014, leading to changes in coaching and management. John Hynes and David Poile were replaced by Brunette and Trotz, and high-priced veterans Matt Duchene and Ryan Johansen were no longer with the team.
