The Phoenix Suns were blown away.

The Suns witnessed firsthand the extraordinary abilities of Wembanyama, as the rookie delivered his best NBA performance on Thursday night, scoring a whopping 38 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead the Spurs to a 132-121 victory over the Suns.

With each passing game, Wembanyama displays a growing level of comfort on the court. Following the Spurs’ game against the Clippers last Sunday, Kawhi Leonard expressed his thoughts on Wembanyama’s progress.

“He’s going to be a force to be reckoned with. It’s still early in the season, but once he figures out his scoring spots and develops an understanding of reading defenses, he’s going to be exceptional,” said Leonard. “I noticed that he became more aggressive in his approach as the season began. I believe he will only continue to improve from here.”

Wembanyama displayed plenty of aggression against the Suns, and a big man who possesses this level of athleticism will undoubtedly find numerous opportunities for easy baskets.

Zach Collins contributed 19 points and Devin Vassell added 17 points for the Spurs, while Booker scored 31 points and Durant scored 28 points for the Suns.
