Vargas Earns Top Title as 2023 Comcast Community Champion

Rising NASCAR driver Ryan Vargas was recognized as the 2023 Comcast Community Champion of the Year for his work with the FACES charity. “I always go into these things prepared not to have it happen,” Vargas admitted. “The fact that it happened is a huge deal for FACES. I don’t do this to raise anything for me. I have nothing to gain out of this. I just like going to FACES camp and seeing these kids live a normal live, a normal summer. It makes me so happy.”

Vargas has scored one top-10 finish in the Craftsman Truck Series and two top-10 finishes in the Xfinity Series. As the recipient of the award, he not only raises awareness for children facing similar health challenges but also helps support the FACES camp and cover travel expenses for families.
