The No. 1 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll remains the Georgia Bulldogs after Week 7, despite their lackluster performance against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Meanwhile, in a Pac-12 showdown, Washington handed Oregon their first loss of the season with a 36-33 victory. Another Pac-12 unbeaten team, USC, also suffered a loss in Week 7 against Notre Dame. North Carolina secured a 41-31 win over Miami, and Oregon State emerged victorious against UCLA in another Pac-12 matchup.
Moving forward, Week 8 will feature four games between teams in the top 25 of the coaches poll. Georgia football will have a bye week during Week 8 before facing off against Florida on October 28th.

Despite inconsistent performances, Georgia remains the only undefeated team in the SEC. They will have a bye week in Week 8 to recover before their upcoming game against Florida.
No. 2 Michigan 52, Indiana 7:
Michigan’s closest game this season was a 24-point win over Rutgers. They have had a relatively easy schedule so far but will face tougher opponents in October and November.
No. 3 Ohio State 41, Purdue 7:
Ohio State’s wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. had an impressive game against Purdue, with over 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. Their next game against Penn State in Week 8 is highly anticipated.
No. 4 Florida State 41, Syracuse 3:
Star wide receiver Keon Coleman continues to shine for Florida State, with nine catches for 140 yards and a touchdown in their win against Syracuse.
No. 5 Washington 36, Oregon 33:
In a crucial Pac-12 matchup, Washington emerged victorious against previously unbeaten Oregon. Quarterback Michel Penix had a standout performance with over 300 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.
