UFC 294 will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The main card will be broadcast on pay-per-view at the special time of 2 p.m. ET, following prelims on ESPN+.

In the main event, we will witness an epic showdown between lightweight champion Islam Makhachev (24-1 MMA, 13-1 UFC) and featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski (26-2 MMA, 13-1 UFC). Volkanovski, who aims to become a two-division titleholder, stepped up on short notice after Charles Oliveira pulled out. Makhachev previously defeated Volkanovski in the UFC 284 main event earlier this year in Australia.

The co-feature presents Khamzat Chimaev (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) at middleweight, making a comeback after struggling with weight issues in the past. Chimaev will face former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman (20-3 MMA, 15-2 UFC), who will move up to 185 pounds for the first time, filling in for the injured Paulo Costa.
