ABU DHABI – The highly anticipated UFC 294 fight card has been officially confirmed after a successful weigh-in session on Friday. Out of the 26 fighters scheduled to compete, 24 made weight without any issues.
The event will take place at the prestigious Etihad Arena on Yas Island, with the main card being broadcasted on pay-per-view following the preliminary fights on ESPN+ and YouTube. The main event will feature a lightweight title rematch between Islam Makhachev (24-1 MMA, 13-1 UFC) and Alexander Volkanovski (26-2 MMA, 13-1 UFC). These two fighters previously faced each other in a champ-vs-champ bout in February, which Makhachev won by unanimous decision. Both fighters successfully made weight, ensuring their championship fight.
