Trevon Diggs has more to say about Stefon Diggs, Josh Allen, and the Bills

Following the Bills’ loss to the Broncos last night, Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs shared a noteworthy observation about his brother, Stefon, on X. He implied that Stefon needs to leave Buffalo.

Trevon Diggs has not removed the message. Instead, he has made another observation.

“Let’s not forget, he didn’t start going off till bro got there,” Trevon Diggs stated.

In that message, Trevon Diggs was referring to quarterback Josh Allen. It is true that Allen truly took off when Stefon joined the Bills in his third year, which led to Allen being widely recognized as an elite quarterback in 2020.

The perception remains, even if the performance does not. Many still consider Josh Allen to be the dominant force he once was. But is he?

Blame is often placed on the quality of the supporting cast and the coaching staff, rarely on Allen himself.

Perhaps that will change now. Allen is currently leading the league with 11 interceptions. He added two more to that tally last night and fumbled a ball intended for running back James Cook.

Now, the Bills will make a mid-season change with a new coordinator. It will be up to Joe Brady to help Allen improve his performance. The fact that Allen has achieved great performances before is irrelevant. It only proves that he has the capability.

Can he do it now? If he fails to do so, it may be time to reassess whether he truly belongs among the best quarterbacks in football.

It might be a fair assessment already. After all, the top quarterbacks usually do not lead the league in interceptions.
