There are currently three undefeated teams in ACC play, and Clemson and Miami are highly regarded according to SP+. Interestingly, the rankings moved Miami up a spot from last week.
Duke saw the largest jump in ratings, increasing by 2.6 points, while FSU improved by 2.2 points.
Unfortunately, Louisville’s loss to Pittsburgh led to a significant drop in their ratings, decreasing by 3.6 points, the largest drop in the conference for the week. Syracuse had the second largest drop at 3.0 points.
Pittsburgh’s win over Louisville has contributed to their upward momentum, moving up 16 spots in the rankings over the past two weeks. In contrast, Syracuse has dropped 15 spots during the same period, and Wake Forest is also on a downward trajectory with a 14 spot drop.
The ACC now has four teams with ratings above 15.0, indicating a stronger conference overall. Additionally, the bottom three teams from last week have all moved up in the rankings this week.
