Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is listed as doubtful for Friday’s in-season tournament game against the Utah Jazz due to lower back spasms. Meanwhile, Devin Booker, who returned from a five-game absence and scored 31 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves, is considered probable with a right calf strain. Additionally, backup Drew Eubanks is also probable due to lower back tightness after contributing 13 points off the bench.
Beal recently made his Suns debut after missing the first seven games of the season. However, he was ruled out shortly before the game against the Timberwolves due to residual tightness that did not loosen up. This delayed the debut of Phoenix’s trio with Booker, Beal, and Kevin Durant.
On the other hand, the Utah Jazz have listed starting center Walker Kessler as out with a sprained left elbow. In his absence, the Jazz have had to adjust their starting lineup, starting forwards John Collins, Lauri Markkanen, and Ochai Agbaji in a recent game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Suns are set to face the Jazz in Salt Lake City on Sunday as well.
