Sporting Kansas City has made several roster moves in anticipation of the 2024 season.
The club has exercised contract options for eight players: Stephen Afrifa, Willy Agada, Robert Castellanos, Jake Davis, Danny Flores, Chris Rindov, Johnny Russell, and Remi Walter.
Cam Duke, Gadi Kinda, and Kendall McIntosh are out of contract, with Kinda receiving a bona fide offer from Sporting.
Additionally, Sporting has declined contract options for Roger Espinoza, Kortne Ford, Felipe Gutierrez, and Graham Zusi.
Espinoza and Zusi are two of the most accomplished players in Sporting history, with Espinoza spending 14 seasons with the club and Zusi spending his entire 15-year professional career with Sporting Kansas City.
Looking ahead to the 2024 season, Sporting has 24 players under contract, with the roster continuing to take shape leading up to the MLS campaign.

Sporting Kansas City II has also announced offseason roster moves for the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro campaign.
SKC II has exercised options for some players and declined options for others, with ongoing discussions to retain certain players.
Four players are currently under MLS NEXT Pro contracts with Sporting KC II entering the 2024 season.
