Sherman dunks on Parsons for criticism of Cowboys haters

Micah Parsons, linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, has been vocal about wanting the media to be less critical of his team. However, Richard Sherman, former cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers, has no intention of granting that wish.

Following the Cowboys’ embarrassing 42-10 loss to the 49ers in Week 5, Parsons and his team faced a wave of criticism. But when the Cowboys bounced back with wins against the Los Angeles Chargers and the 49ers’ and Philadelphia Eagles’ losses in Week 6, Parsons called out the media to critique their opponents just as harshly as they did the Cowboys.

During an episode of “Undisputed,” Sherman was asked about his thoughts on Parsons’ plea. He expressed his disapproval, stating, “I’ve got a problem with it, Skip. I’ve got a problem with it. If you don’t want to get bashed by the media, my advice is simple: don’t lose by 32 points on prime time. If you win that game, nobody will criticize you.”

Sherman believes that due to the Cowboys’ poor performance on “Sunday Night Football” and their loss to the struggling Arizona Cardinals in Week 3, the criticism they received was not only valid but also warranted.

“Your defense gave up 42 points, and Dak Prescott threw three interceptions. The criticism was necessary and warranted,” Sherman added. “It’s hard to find positive things to say when a team gets beaten by such a large margin on prime time.”

Despite their setbacks, the Cowboys hold a 4-2 record and are currently the fifth seed in the NFC, positioning them well for a playoff spot. However, many argue that their losses to the Cardinals and 49ers indicate that they are not on the same level as the 49ers and the Eagles.
