Shannon Sharpe’s Furious Reaction to Rich Paul’s Steph Curry Comparison

In the recent episode of Club Shay Shay, Shannon Sharpe expressed skepticism towards Rich Paul’s claim that he is just as skilled of a shooter as Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Paul confidently stated to Sharpe, as shown in the video above, “Laugh if you want, but I consider myself one of the best shooters. Even to this day… If I were one of the 450 players, I would be at the top. People like me, Steph, Klay.” Sharpe, seemingly taken aback, interrupted and asked, “Klay who?” Paul clarified that he was referring to Klay Thompson, but Sharpe wasn’t convinced.

Paul added, “I belong to this class when it comes to shooting.” Sharpe responded with a sarcastic remark, “Are you referring to shooting at the gun range or shooting basketballs into a hoop? … You’re really placing yourself in that group, Rich! … My only issue is that you consider yourself part of that group.”

Despite Sharpe’s skepticism, Paul stood firm in his belief. “When it comes to shooting,” Paul asserted, to which Sharpe retorted, “I don’t care what it is!” Paul then pointed out that, unlike Sharpe, he was not drinking alcohol. Sharpe continued to challenge Paul’s statement, saying, “Maybe you should drink more because you must be too sober to say something like that. I need an explanation for this nonsense you just said.” Paul simply replied, “I’m just telling the truth.”
