During the second day of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove, a new top contender emerged at Q-Series, as So Mi Lee took the lead, while several new names broke into the top ten. Players experienced the opposite course from the first round, and many capitalized on the opportunity to play on a different course.

So Mi Lee delivered a stunning bogey-free round, propelling her from fourth place to the top spot after a remarkable 65 on the Falls Course. The Korean golfer displayed consistency and skill, securing three birdies on each side to finish with a six-under round. Starting with a strong performance, she made three birdies in her first five holes, maintaining her position at seven-under before a late surge towards the end of her round. Lee expressed her hope for another bogey-free round, emphasizing her preparedness and mindset for the upcoming rounds.

Americans Jennifer Song and Mina Harigae closely trail Lee by just one shot as they head into the weekend, both scoring nine-under par over the past two rounds. Song also achieved a bogey-free round with a 65, and credited her patience and mentality for her successful play. Harigae, on the other hand, shot a solid 66 with no bogeys, joining Song in a tie for second place.

With the leaderboard remaining highly competitive, players like Frenchwoman Pauline Roussin, LPGA Tour Rookie Hyo Joon Jang, Epson Tour winner Yue Ren, Canadian Maddie Szeryk, and former Clemson University player Savannah Grewal currently sit in a tie for fourth place at eight-under par. An additional six players are tied for ninth place at seven-under, adding to the intense competition at the Q-Series event.
