NASCAR Cup Series driver Ross Chastain and Like a Farmer, a podcast and video series that spotlights and celebrates Rural America, are excited to announce the launch of the Ag to Asphalt campaign. This campaign aims to bring attention to the agriculture industry and honor farmers across the nation.
Through the Ag to Asphalt program, each race in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season will highlight a local family farm in the race market. Prior to each race, Chastain will share a video on social media, delving into the unique story of the selected farm. As a token of appreciation, the chosen family farmer will be invited to attend the NASCAR race on behalf of Chastain and Like A Farmer.
“Using my platform to showcase these hardworking family farms in America is incredibly important to me,” says Chastain, an eighth-generation watermelon farmer. “Teaming up with Like A Farmer to create the Ag to Asphalt program was a natural fit. Exploring my agricultural background on the podcast with Pat was a fantastic experience, and I’m equally excited and fulfilled to bring this program to all the NASCAR Cup Series races in 2024.”
As someone who grew up on a farm, Chastain understands the significance of agriculture and the daily sacrifices made by farmers to provide food for everyone. Despite his racing career with Trackhouse Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, Chastain remains connected to the farm and uses his platform to advocate for the agriculture industry.
Alongside Like a Farmer and Chastain, Trackhouse Racing partner Kubota Tractor Corporation and Bayer Seminis have joined the campaign, demonstrating their devotion to the farming community. By supporting this campaign, they highlight the importance of farmers and the agricultural industry nationwide.
