Alabama’s season took an unexpected turn after losing to Texas in Week 2, putting their College Football Playoff hopes in jeopardy. However, the Crimson Tide is still determined to make a comeback as the regular season nears its end.
Experts believe that in order for Alabama to secure a spot in the CFP, they must win all their remaining games and defeat Georgia in the SEC championship.
But before they can think about the conference championship, they need to navigate through the rest of the regular season.
After their off week, the Crimson Tide will face LSU at home, followed by a road game against Kentucky, then a home game against Chattanooga, and finally ending the regular season with a road game against Auburn.
Here’s a ranking of those games from easiest to most difficult.
Chattanooga
When the Mocs visit Tuscaloosa, their aim is to make history. If Alabama were to lose against Chattanooga, it would be a monumental upset considering their CFP aspirations.
Kentucky
Despite a strong start, Kentucky’s performance dipped after a loss to Georgia. Their quarterback, Devin Leary, hasn’t lived up to expectations. While this game won’t be a walk in the park for Alabama, playing in Lexington gives them a slight advantage compared to the other two games on this list.
