• Carla Berube, the head coach of Princeton, has been named to the 2024 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year Preseason Watch List presented by Her Hoops Stats.
• Kaitlyn Chen, a standout player for the Tigers, has been named to the 2024 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Preseason Watch List by Her Hoops Stats.

The Tigers have been a force to be reckoned with in the Ivy League under the coaching of Carla Berube. In the three seasons played under Berube, Princeton has won three Ivy League championships and has an impressive 40-2 record against Ivy opponents during the regular season. Overall, the team has a remarkable 75-12 (.812) record during Berube’s tenure as head coach at Princeton.

Kaitlyn Chen’s Success:

Kaitlyn Chen, the senior captain of the team, has had an outstanding career. She was named the 2023 Ivy League Player of the Year last season, showcasing her remarkable skills on the court. Chen led the team in scoring with an average of 16.2 points per game while also contributing 4.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. She made a significant impact in the postseason, earning the title of Ivy Tournament Most Outstanding Player for the second consecutive season. Chen’s performance in the NCAA Tournament was also noteworthy, with standout games against Penn, Harvard, NC State, and Utah.
