The 2023-24 college basketball season is quickly approaching, and the SEC kicked off its annual Media Day in Birmingham. Representing Auburn were head coach Bruce Pearl, along with veterans Jaylin Williams and Johni Broome. The Tigers are entering the season with high expectations, thanks to their top transfer class and five-star freshman Aden Holloway. Broome, who tested the NBA draft waters, decided to return to Auburn and is considered one of the top players in the conference. Coach Pearl admitted that he has yet to determine his starting lineup, but believes this is one of his deepest teams since joining Auburn. He hopes to have the starting five figured out within the week so they can begin practicing for the season, which starts on November 7th against the Baylor Bears.
