The Philadelphia Phillies have finalized contracts for the 2024 season, ranging from $850,000 to $1 million, with three players ahead of the recent non-tender deadline. Garrett Stubbs, Jake Cave, and Dylan Covey are now locked in for the upcoming season.

On Friday, teams were required to make decisions regarding their players under club control, with those who didn’t receive contracts becoming free agents. The list of notable non-tenders across the league included Brandon Woodruff, Rowdy Tellez, Dakota Hudson, Nick Senzel, and Daniel Vogelbach.

The only player non-tendered by the Phillies was left-handed pitcher Josh Fleming, who was claimed off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the team tendered contracts to Alec Bohm, Jeff Hoffman, Edmundo Sosa, Gregory Soto, and Ranger Suarez, all of whom are eligible for salary arbitration.

As for the arbitration-eligible players, they must exchange salary figures with their teams by January 12. Hearings for eligible players who have not reached a contract with their teams are scheduled from January 29 through February 16, where an arbiter will rule in favor of the player or team.
