PELOTON, THE NBA AND WNBA ANNOUNCE NEW MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP TO CREATE SPECIAL ACCESS AND EXPERIENCES FOR PELOTON MEMBERS AND FANS

Peloton Teams Up with NBA and WNBA to Bring Live and On-Demand Games to Members

Peloton, the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) are excited to announce a new multi-year partnership. This collaboration will make NBA League Pass, the exclusive subscription service for live NBA games, available to stream on Peloton devices during the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season. This marks the first time Peloton is offering this kind of entertainment on their fitness platform.

The partnership aims to leverage the expertise of Peloton, NBA, and WNBA to provide special access, offers, and experiences for Peloton Members and fans. Peloton will create NBA- and WNBA-themed fitness classes that align with each league’s respective season. In addition, Peloton will work closely with the WNBA for special initiatives during the 2024 season.

Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer of Peloton, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Peloton Members are NBA and WNBA fans, and this collaboration is going to bring amazing content and experiences to them and all fans of both leagues. We have a shared goal to inspire and connect people through fitness, sport, and community — we’re excited to join forces and achieve exactly that.”

Scott Kaufman-Ross, Senior Vice President, Head of Gaming & New Business Ventures at the NBA, also shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Peloton is the ideal partner to tip off the launch of NBA Fitness, our new platform to engage our fans’ affinity for health and wellness. We look forward to leveraging Peloton’s leadership in the space as we create co-branded fitness classes with both the NBA and WNBA, bring original content to the NBA App, and make NBA League Pass available on Peloton devices.”

For the very first time, Peloton Members will have the ability to stream live and on-demand NBA games directly on their Peloton equipment, including the Bike/Bike+, Tread/Tread+, and Row. This integration of NBA League Pass into Peloton’s new Entertainment section will provide an immersive and dynamic workout experience. Peloton Members with an NBA League Pass subscription will have access to live NBA games and content while exercising.

The integration will be available during the 2023-24 NBA season, and more details about its launch timing will be shared soon on Peloton and NBA’s social channels.

Peloton will also introduce custom content through “NBA Fitness,” a new digital content initiative within the NBA App. This initiative will bring premier content covering various health and fitness topics, featuring experts in strength and conditioning, basketball skills, recovery, nutrition, and mental wellness.

In addition to the fitness classes, Peloton will create unique fitness content and co-branded programming for Peloton Members and NBA fans throughout the upcoming NBA season.
