On Nov. 14, the Ohio High School Athletic Association announced the highly anticipated bracket pairings for the upcoming football state semifinal games. The geography of the schools in each region is the key factor in determining the matchups for the state semifinals, rather than a team’s won-lost record, regional seed, or state rank.
The pairings for the regional finals, which are taking place this Friday, are also available, giving football enthusiasts a preview of the thrilling matchups to come. The locations for the state semifinals will be disclosed following the regional finals on Friday night.
