Chaz Mostert, driver of the #25 Mobil 1 Optus Ford Mustang for WAU, will be entering his fifth year with the team next year. In his 116 starts, Mostert has achieved eight wins, including the prestigious Bathurst 1000 in 2021 with Lee Holdsworth.
“I’m thrilled to continue my journey with WAU. This team feels like family, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else,” said Mostert. “The decision was an easy one, and everything fell into place quickly.”
“From the team to our partners and all the WAU fans, everyone has been incredible. I’m excited to continue this journey together,” he added.
“We had some big goals in mind, and while we haven’t achieved all of them yet, I’m just as motivated as when I started to accomplish them,” Mostert stated.
“I want to express my gratitude to everyone involved in the team and our partners for their trust in me. Representing them is a true honor, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in the future,” he concluded.
