Three standout players from the Arkansas volleyball program – Jill Gillen, Taylor Head, and Hannah Hogue – have been honored as All-SEC recipients, while Jason Watson has been named Co-SEC Coach of the Year for his exceptional leadership.
This marks the first time since 2014 that Arkansas has had three players named All-SEC, and Watson becomes the second Arkansas coach to receive SEC annual honors, after Chris Poole in 2003.
Gillen, a graduate outside hitter, has been a consistent force in the team, setting new records and achieving personal bests this season. She has been named All-SEC in each of her five seasons at Arkansas, solidifying her legacy within the program.
Head has also earned All-SEC honors for the third time in her career, showcasing her versatility and prowess on both offense and defense.
Junior setter Hannah Hogue has garnered attention for her impactful performance, earning her first All-SEC designation. She has also been recognized as Co-SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for her academic achievements.
Meanwhile, Coach Jason Watson has continued to elevate the Arkansas volleyball program, leading the team to notable accomplishments and national recognition, including the most regular season wins since 1999 and the highest program RPI ranking at No. 7.
Arkansas will soon learn its postseason fate during the NCAA Volleyball Selection Show and is poised to host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, based on their impressive regular season record and rankings.
