Matt Frevola warns Benoit Saint-Denis ‘not in our house’ ahead of UFC 295 home game

NEW YORK – Matt Frevola has landed himself a dream fight at the renowned Madison Square Garden.

Accepting the challenge, Frevola (11-3-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC) is set to face Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 295 this Saturday. This card also features his LAW MMA teammates, Nazim Sadykhov and Dennis Buzukja.

“The energy at the gym has been unreal,” said Frevola at a news conference. “We all feed off each other. The slogan all camp has been, ‘Not in our house.’ Madison Square Garden is our house. We’re all New Yorkers and we’re ready to protect our homeland.”

Despite Saint-Denis (12-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) not having an official UFC lightweight ranking, Frevola willingly put his divisional position on the line. Fans are buzzing about the potential of this fight, and Frevola is right there with them.

“It excited me,” Frevola said. “I was ready to fight anybody at MSG. But when they came to me with Benoit, I just got excited. That’s what I want. I want to fight The Boogeyman. I want to fight the guys that people don’t want to fight. His nickname is the ‘God of War,’ but I’m going to show the world he’s just a man.”
