One of the World’s Preeminent Luxury Brands to Support the League as the Official Trophy Provider of LIV Golf

Miami, FL and London (October 20, 2023) – LIV Golf today announced a multi-year partnership with Asprey, a renowned British luxury brand specializing in silverware, jewelry, timepieces, and goods. Asprey will serve as the Official Trophy Provider of LIV Golf. Since the league’s inception in June 2022, Asprey trophies have graced LIV Golf podiums. This partnership cements Asprey’s role in creating all league trophies and their prominent presence at tournaments as proud supporters of LIV Golf.

“We are delighted to be the Official Trophy Provider of LIV Golf, a groundbreaking league that epitomizes teamwork and championship competition on a global scale. Our brands share a commitment to innovation and excellence, and we will create unique and exceptional trophies that celebrate the magnificent sport of golf,” said John Rigas, Chairman of Asprey.

With a legacy of innovative design, Asprey has been supplying sporting trophies for prestigious events such as The Premier League, Wimbledon Championships, Formula 1, FIFA, Epsom Derby Stakes, The Jump Jockey, and Gallagher Rugby Premiership for decades.

“We are thrilled to welcome Asprey to our esteemed list of partners and eagerly anticipate a prosperous collaboration with this globally renowned brand at the pinnacle of its industry,” said Monica Fee, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Partnerships at LIV Golf. “As we forge ahead with LIV Golf, featuring captivating tournaments showcasing the world’s finest golfers across the globe, these trophies will immortalize and celebrate future player and team accomplishments.”

The 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship is returning to Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami from October 20-22. The illustrious Blue Monster course will host the three-day seeded tournament, involving match play and stroke play. It promises the thrills of head-to-head competition as 12 world-class teams compete for an unprecedented $50 million purse.

For the 2023 Team Championship trophy, Asprey has designed a distinctive prize consisting of four sterling silver shards that assemble on a carbon fiber base. On presentation, the trophy can be separated into four pieces, allowing each member of the winning team to receive an equal share of the prize. It symbolizes their recognition as a unified sporting unit.

The league boasts a 12-team, 48-player field, with a combined total of 25 major wins. Among the star-studded roster are Brooks Koepka, winner of the 2023 PGA Championship and member of the 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup Team, 2022 Open Champion Cameron Smith, World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson, 2020 U.S. Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau, and two-time major winners Dustin Johnson, Bubba Watson, and Martin Kaymer.

The LIV Golf schedule includes 13 regular season tournaments, where each event crowns an individual and team champion. This season’s top individual performer, Talor Gooch, earned the title of 2023 Individual Champion and will be receiving a specially designed trophy in Miami this week. The entire field of 48 players will compete in the Team Championship, the 14th and final event of the season.

LIV Golf is owned and operated by LIV Golf Investments, dedicated to making holistic and sustainable investments that enhance the global golf ecosystem and unlock the sport’s untapped potential worldwide.
