LPGA superstar Lexi Thompson recently made her highly-anticipated PGA Tour debut at the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas, NV.
Taking on this challenge in the afternoon, Thompson has already generated immense excitement among fans. Many eagerly await how she will handle the pressure that comes with playing on the prestigious PGA Tour.
It’s important to note that she is only the seventh woman to ever compete on the PGA Tour. In fact, only the legendary Babe Zaharis in 1945 managed to make the cut.
A remarkable moment occurred when the 11-time LPGA winner sank her first birdie on the PGA Tour, nailing a remarkable 22-foot putt.
This impressive birdie on the par-4 2nd hole propelled her into the red figures and left fans in awe of her incredible skills.
Watching Lexi Thompson on the @PGATOUR is absolutely fantastic. My daughter is glued to the television! I hope Thompson has a successful week. She truly exemplifies professionalism.

I don’t think Lexi Thompson is intimidated, I think it’s the two guys in her group. #lpga #pga

On the par-4 4th hole, Thompson impressively out-drove her two playing partners and even surpassed one of them on the opening hole.
Her exceptional driving ability proves that she can keep up with her male counterparts. As mentioned by ‘The Great Bambino’ on Twitter, she remains unfazed and shows no signs of intimidation.
Including Thompson in the tournament as a sponsor exemption provided a significant boost to this week’s field. Fans can’t help but appreciate individuals who seize their opportunities and make the most of them.
Can I get a match between Michael Block and Lexi Thompson? I’d love to witness that.

Thompson’s length off the tee should not be questioned this week. Her impressive start will undoubtedly benefit her as she must trust in her abilities and remain confident in her game. It’s noteworthy that none of the seven women who played on the PGA Tour have made the cut. If Thompson continues to play her game, she could make even more history.
