The WNBA has reached its final four teams in the playoffs.
The Las Vegas Aces, New York Liberty, Connecticut Sun, and Dallas Wings are the remaining contenders with their sights set on the 2023 WNBA Finals after advancing past the initial playoff round.
Prior to the upcoming semifinal series, let’s take a look at the matchups and schedule for the WNBA semis:
WNBA Semifinals Showdown
The first round saw the top four seeds in the WNBA secure their spots in the semifinals.
The No. 1 seeded Aces clinched a first-round sweep over the No. 8 Chicago Sky, the No. 2 Liberty took down the No. 7 Washington Mystics, the No. 4 Wings swept the No. 5 Atlanta Dream, and the No. 3 Sun secured a decisive Game 3 victory against the No. 6 Minnesota Lynx to advance to the semifinals.
WNBA Semifinals Format
Unlike the first round, the semifinals and WNBA Finals will be best of five. The higher seeds will host Games 1, 2, and 5 (if necessary), while the lower seeds will host Games 3 and 4 (if necessary).
