Koepka’s brother among four players relegated from LIV

On the other hand, Chase Koepka, Brooks’ younger brother, did not have such a prosperous day. Unfortunately, he finished last among the 48 players competing and ended up in 48th place in the points ranking. This position means that he will be relegated out of the league, along with Jed Morgan, James Piot, and Sihwan Kim. Throughout the season, the younger Koepka struggled to make an impact, managing only one top-25 finish in 13 starts, resulting in just one point. Despite these challenges, Brooks provides support for his sibling, acknowledging his efforts and emphasizing that every golfer experiences setbacks at one point or another. He also highlights Chase’s remarkable progress, considering that just 16 months ago he was playing mini-tour golf.

LIV Jeddah witnessed several players, such as Matt Wolff, Pat Perez, Charl Schwartzel, and Graeme McDowell, finishing in the Open Zone (Nos. 25-44). However, their positions in their respective teams may be in jeopardy, as LIV expects some of them to face potential trade or release ahead of the 2024 season.

In the Asian Tour’s International Series Order of Merit, Andy Ogletree currently holds a dominant lead with three events remaining. The player who tops this prestigious ranking will secure a spot on LIV in 2024. Additionally, the top three performers from LIV’s 72-hole qualifying event, scheduled for next month, will also earn a spot on the prestigious tour.
