Kittle hilariously requests 49ers-Seahawks Creed Thanksgiving halftime show originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
The 49ers’ George Kittle isn’t just looking forward to Thanksgiving Day’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, but also the anticipated halftime show. He said he hopes that Creed would perform the way they did at a past game in Dallas, calling it “amazing.”
A rock band performed during halftime of the 2001 Cowboys-Denver Broncos Thanksgiving game, a performance that included hits like “Higher,” “My Sacrifice,” and “Don’t Stop Dancing.”
Although Kittle’s wish for Creed to perform won’t come true, two-time Grammy nominee Steve Aoki is set to take the stage instead. Despite the change in artists, Kittle is hopeful for his team’s performance, stating, “I’m just excited about it. … And the fact that we play a division rival in Seattle with a great atmosphere, it just makes it that much more special.”
