NASCAR Dives Deep into Harvick’s Disqualification Mystery
In a recent NASCAR twist that could be straight out of a movie, we finally have the inside scoop on why Kevin Harvick’s car received the dreaded “DQ” stamp! NASCAR officials, armed with their rule book, found the No. 4 car in violation of specific sections: 14.5.6.2.F and 14.1.E&P. According to Rule 14.5.6.2, windshield fasteners should remain secure throughout the entire event.
During the dramatic Charlotte Roval, Brad Moran, the Managing Director of the NASCAR Cup Series, shared gripping snapshots from the inspection. He revealed, “Unfortunately, with the No. 4 vehicle, we have photos because we didn’t take any of the parts because it was fasteners. There were three bolts along the windshield that were missing. The windshield seal blew out. Seven of the eight fasteners along the top were loose or missing. There are eight in total.”
