Bemidji State Soccer Welcomes New Student-Athletes for 2024 Season
BEMIDJI — As part of the NCAA’s early signing period on Wednesday, Bemidji State women’s head soccer coach, Jim Stone, announced the signings of 10 student-athletes who have committed to play for the Beavers in the upcoming 2024 season.
Hannah Bolte from Oswego, Illinois; Rozlyn Buettner from Gretna, Nebraska; Madisen Fritel from Big Lake, Minnesota; Margaret Kramer from St. Michael, Minnesota; Isabel Morales from Gilberts, Illinois; Grace Schwoch from Stillwater, Minnesota; Dayna Stocke from Andover, Minnesota; Sydney Sutherland from Blaine, Minnesota; Breanna Weilert from Blaine, Minnesota; and Marielle Wright from Pittsburg, Kansas have all signed National Letters of Intent to play for Bemidji State.
The commitments are subject to the students’ admission to Bemidji State, and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Stone expressed excitement about the class by saying, “Every position has been addressed, along with numerous players who can play in multiple places. It adds immense talent, depth, and character to our program. Time will tell, but I believe it’s going to be a class that puts its stamp on our program, allowing us to pursue our competitive dreams and uphold the standard of excellence within our program.”
Each of the 10 student-athletes brings specific strengths and skills to the table, and Stone is enthusiastic about the unique talents each of them will bring to the team. For example, Hannah Bolte, from Oswego East High School, possesses a high IQ on and off the field, which aligns perfectly with what the program seeks in a student-athlete.
The wealth of talent doesn’t stop there. For example, Grace Schwoch, from Stillwater Area High School, brings athleticism and a winning attitude to the team, capturing the essence of what it means to be a Bemidji Beaver.
Stone is excited for the upcoming season, and the team anticipates great achievements alongside its new roster.
