The injuries are already starting to pile up, creating opportunities for other players to step up and make an impact. This week, notable names like Tyler Herro and Jamal Murray were added to the growing list, providing opportunities for other players to shine. As a result, some of this week’s suggested pickups play for teams dealing with injuries to key players and offer considerable value in fantasy leagues. Here’s a new group of players to consider snagging heading into Week 4.

Sochan has had a few sloppy showings, but his well-rounded stat line affords him considerable value in points leagues. With Nic Claxton, Ben Simmons, and Cam Thomas out, Finney-Smith and O’Neale are worth considering for short-term streaming options. Hayes has had a strong start to the season, and rookie Sasser has been showing impressive flashes of talent. Eason has already earned a reputation for making the most of his playing time, making him a solid speculative add at the very least.

Lowry showed signs of life as a scorer in a recent game, displaying his potential to be a significant offensive contributor. With Wendell Carter Jr. out, Wagner has been averaging solid numbers, making him a viable short-term option. For those in deeper formats, Luke Kennard is worth a look now that he has recovered from his concussion. Richards is on the radar in deeper leagues thanks to his quality contributions in the field-goal percentage and blocks departments. George has already supplanted Talen Horton-Tucker in the starting lineup and is a valuable addition to any fantasy team. With Murray expected to miss the remainder of the month at minimum, Jackson is an intriguing add, especially in deep leagues. Hauser, who has been one of the only bright spots off Boston’s bench, is a decent option for those in need of threes in deeper leagues.
