Jason Sudeikis brought his famous ‘Ted Lasso’ dance to Iowa, delighting fans at the Hawkeyes’ triumph over Bowling Green in a women’s basketball game on Saturday.
Seated courtside alongside WNBA icon Sue Bird, Sudeikis appeared on the jumbotron during a pause in the second quarter.
The actor treated the crowd at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena to a performance of the dance made famous in the first episode of ‘Ted Lasso.’
Bird enjoyed the spectacle and joined in applause as Sudeikis captured the audience’s attention.
The duo also witnessed UConn’s defeat against Kansas the previous night.

At the time of Sudeikis’ dance on Saturday, the 4th ranked Iowa team was comfortably ahead, leading 42-23 with 4:59 remaining in the first half.
They went on to secure a 99-65 victory following a strong second half.
Reigning AP Player of the Year Caitlin Clark delivered an outstanding performance, tallying 24 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kate Martin contributed 17 points, while Sydney Affolter added 14.
After Clark’s stellar play, Iowa became the center of attention last season as the Hawkeyes reached the national championship, where they lost 102-85 to LSU.
