James Rodríguez accepts new role for Colombia

One of the key figures of the Colombian national team has arrived, as James Rodríguez has joined the team’s camp on Sunday night. The highly skilled midfielder arrives in top form following an impressive performance against Vasco da Gama. Tomorrow morning, he will engage in recovery activities at the hotel, followed by a rigorous practice session in the afternoon at the Colombian Football Federation.

James ready for Uruguay

James, a 32-year-old midfielder, is one of the players who commands the confidence of Néstor Lorenzo. The primary objective now is to meticulously prepare for the upcoming match against Uruguay and move past the memories of the disappointing 0-3 defeat at the Metropolitano, in which James Rodríguez was a starter.

James ready to assist Colombia once again

The Sao Paulo player understands his new role within the team. He is well aware that the Argentine coach no longer considers him untouchable, a message that was delivered through the first two matches. James made appearances for 15 minutes against Venezuela and 32 minutes against Chile, where he played a vital role in rejuvenating the attack in the final quarter of the pitch.
